Two Favorites Cancelled
Just found out that both Wolverine and the X-Men, and Spectacular Spider-Man were cancelled. I'm more than a little late with that information. Still pisses me off though. Two incredible cartoon that the networks are not standing behind. If I'm correct they switched Spidey's time block three times. I guess they were trying to find the best spot for him. As for wolverine, it seemed like I could never tell when a new episode was coming. When I did miss one, I tried to watch it on their website. Bad part is, they were often two, three episodes behind. I guess that should have been a warning sign right there. My problem is that these were awesome cartoons. Spectacular Spider-Man featured the awesome character designs of Sean "cheeks" Galloway, which fit perfect for animation. Wolverine and the X-Men was ten times better than X-Men: Evolution, which got three seasons if I'm correct. So you mean to tell me that a much better cartoon gets cancelled? That's some ol' bullshit. Is television really THAT competitive? Ratings don't mean everything. I feel like both Nickelodeon AND Disney are shooting themselves in the foot by canceling some truly awesome cartoons.
